RELOCATING SENIORS
Relocation after retirement is a big step. Sometimes seniors initiate a move on
their own or sometimes they follow their families who have already come to the
area. In either case, it is important to have a well-planned strategy for
housing, transportation, medical care, living costs, social needs, and
finances before making a move. Although the Triangle may not offer the lowest
cost-of-living, especially when compared to large retirement communities in
Florida and the southwest, it has a wealth of housing options, cultural and
educational opportunities, superb medical facilities and an excellent support
network.

possibilities:

homes for seniors who are not yet ready to invest in a continuing care
community. Several new neighborhoods are
